Who We Are

The Oregon Chinese Tennis Association (ORCTA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2023. We are registered as a USTA community tennis association in the Pacific Northwest Section.

Our Vision

We hope to inspire ethnic and cultural inclusion through a shared passion for tennis.

Our Mission

Through tennis, we hope to promote well-being, education, and cultural understanding in the local Chinese American community while building bridges of tolerance with other ethnic groups. More specifically, we would like to...

  • Use tennis to boost well-being for local Chinese Americans.
  • Offer educational chances for young tennis players through camps and exhibition matches with both national and international pros
  • Strengthen cultural understanding in the local Chinese community with recreational tennis matches
  • Promote understanding and tolerance between Chinese and other ethnic communities through communal tennis matches

Youth Coaching

Tournaments

Organize youth tennis camps to foster interest in the sport. Provide access to tennis programs and events for underprivileged youths, especially those of East Asian decent, who may face financial barriers to participation.

Organize exhibition tennis tournaments for youth and adults.

Join Our Team

We are looking for more volunteers to join us. Below are some of the many opportunities available. We will provide all of the necesarry training so no prior experience is needed. Please reach out to us if you're interested in learning more.
